Look deep within yourself, Your inner core – Your heart… for the essence of man is what’s in his heart.
The key is to truly believe in Jesus Christ/Yeshua HaMashiach from the heart. That’s what God sees, cares about, where your heart is. As in water face reflects face, So a man’s heart reveals the man. Proverbs 27:19 KJV
As no two faces are ever alike, unlike, too, are the hearts of men. JBV
We’re all human and at any given time we fall, it’s in our nature but Christ came to redeem us, gives us His Spirit to overcome and to endure (2 Timothy 2:3), stay steadfast til the end (Psalm 112:7). He didn’t promise a bed of roses but help to conquer the demons inside us, around us. Laying everything at the feet of the cross not just our problems and mistakes but everything the good, the bad and the ugly. Purging ourselves of the baggage we carry inside, cleansing ourselves to receive, accept forgiveness which gives us peace of mind. While still living in this world we’re set apart from it, showing by example who we are, children of The Most High. The Father takes us as we are and changes our hearts when we invite Him in.
His words are treasures to our soul and gives us hope. Having a solid relationship with the Lord is worth all the gold in the world. We need to surrender ourselves to Him, change from the inside to trust Him. He alone can cleanse us, He died for that purpose, for us to return to the Father, for forgiveness. Otherwise we die in our own shame, as the destroyer Satan will eventually. The dragon knows this and wants to take every created creature down to the hell he’s made, death; any way he can. He could careless about you the person, distracting you from ever knowing the Father or the way to Him.
God accepts everyone where ever you might be spiritually, surrending self. Truly wanting to changed from our old self to a new creation in Christ. Wanting to love Him as He first loved/loves us. From the moment Jesus began His preaching with the message, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is close at hand’ (Matthew 4:17). The message hasn’t change, we do. We’re much closer now than ever to witness His return. The kingdom of God will happen whether one is onboard or not. If one accepts and stays in God’s grace (His free gift to us), even though we fall (and everyone does, let’s not kid ourselves) that little voice inside us will keep us in check to confess, repent and keep the faith. Believing in Him and moving forward with confidence. Keeping our eyes focus on Him. God is merciful, longsuffering giving everyone a chance to come to Him by their own initiative. Love is not force but freely given. The conversion of the heart to trust God above everything else assures us our salvation is eternal.
Let’s look deep within ourselves and realize our own misgivings, mistakes, sin. Coming to grip with our own rebellious state, our own personal struggles our soul cries out to the Father in true confession. c1 John 1:9. Search yourself and admit to yourself your failings. Talking to the Lord, who knows every strand of hair on our head and purge ourselves from the heavy burdens this life gives us, leaving it all at the foot of the cross. Ask and He will give us the strength to change our ways and give us peace of mind, that what we’re going through is a learning curve and won’t last forever. Reflecting His image by our own actions and mannerism.
God covers our nakedness with Jesus’ robe of righteousness (forgives us), sending His Spirit to help us convert to His likeness and our journey to sanctification..
It’s an individual journey each of us make in accepting God’s lead. It’s a conscious effort, decision that comes from the heart to follow Christ. Follow Him not traditions with its pomp & circumstances, (having a form of godliness but denying the power behind it [paraph.2 Timothy 3:5]). Scriptures’ tells us truth, tells us history, every emotion was felt by the writers and the people they wrote about and continues to this day for ‘…nothing is new under the sun’ (Ecclesiastes 1:9), but repeats itself. 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
The Holy Bible interprets itself, searching its contents in prayer will enlighten us further in our walk. Our Father gives wisdom, discernment and understanding to all those who seek Him.
Ask, and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. c Matthew 7:7-12
Do not rely on any man who teaches doctrine opposite of the truth of the Holy Scriptures, changing the Word of God to fit their own agenda, their own reason/intellect. Prove to yourself if what they say concise with the Bible.
This my friend is a journey it doesn’t come in a day, we all grow in our own pace. A cause/reason believers plant the seed and let God take over. We are then asked to pray/intercede for those who are misled. Prayer is a powerful gift.
We all start as babies and mature, from babes to maturing in the word, by first believing the Word/Jesus, the good news, trusting Him to change us from the inside upon giving Him our heart. Changing from worldly reason/our thoughts to spiritual thinking requires a change in ourselves, requires faith in God, for God is Spirit. cMatthew 6:25-34 tells us “So do not worry; do not say, ‘What are we to eat? What are we to drink? How are we to be clothed?’ It is the pagans who set their hearts on all these things. Your Heavenly Father knows you need them all. Set your hearts on His kingdom first, and on His righteousness, and all these other things will be given you as well. So do not worry about tomorrow: tomorrow will take care of itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” JBV. It’s in doing our part continuing the journey, every day, praying-communicating with the Father for every day brings challenges of its own. He will reveal Himself to the individual who wants to get to know Him on a personal level; putting the word in our heart and the strength to abide in it. God will finish in us His purpose. In trusting Him we’ll express true repentance, accepting His help and becoming obedient to His word. By ones fruits one is known (cMatthew 7:20). “Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance,” (Matthew 3:8; cLuke 3:8).
‘And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.”‘ (Revelation 18:4) God’s plan hasn’t change, it caught a snag by our own (free will) choice, a web of deception where He is asking us to come out of. And be faithful to Him and He alone. Jesus told us ‘He is the way the truth and the life’, we go to the Father through Him, period.(paraph. John 14:6). “Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.” (Matthew 15:11). “But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.” (Matthew 15:18) If one is not steadfast in the word the world will swallow us and mold us to its image. We are living in a world that’s destroying itself by removing everything that gives/gave us life. God’s word will continue to forge ahead through the light that’s given to His followers. The heart reveals the man. Staying connected, staying true to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will also guarantee our redemption. God bless us all in accepting His truth. Maranatha!
God bless everyone to realize just how awesome our God truly is.
