the assurance of faith

Hebrews 11:1-3

Only faith can guarantee the blessings that we hope for, or prove existence of the realities that at present remain unseen.

All who are faithful are able to reach God through Jesus Christ. He alone is our mediator, He alone is the way to the Father, He alone is the truth of where we came from, who we are, and life to return home, to our Heavenly home. Evil seared our connection to the Father, BUT Christ bought us back with His death, resurrection and ascension, redeemed us all. It starts with faith in Him and following Him with sincerity of heart and mind.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 7:19,25  for the law made nothing perfect; on the other hand, there is the bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God. 25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them, [us].

The law can not save, but only tells us our faults. Pinpoints where we went off course and hopefully, humbly repent from the offense, in trusting the Advocate to help us to change.

Romans 5:1-2  Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Hebrew 11:2-3  It was for faith that our ancestors were commended.  It is by faith that we understand that the world was created by one word from God, so that no apparent cause can account for the things we can see.

1 Corinthians 1:8-9   who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 1:3-6 concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of Holiness, by the resurrection from the dead. Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name, among whom you also are the called of Jesus Christ;

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes,…

Romans 4:20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,

Romans 8:24-25  For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?  But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

2 Corinthians 4:18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.

Faith is the assurance of things hoped for (heaven) and the conviction of things unwanted (hell)’.

The assurance of faith is in knowing our Lord, cares, is always there. His resurrection, ascension and intercession is an assurance that where He is we can be as well at the appointed time. Stay faithful!

Faith is the source of patience and strength.

thank you for visiting 🙂

God bless you to see with your heart, believe from within, desire His love, trust Him with your life, keep hope alive, for everything that counts, everything we need is at His doorstep. Open your heart and let Him in.

    1. Thank you so much for visiting and liking my blog to nominate it for this award. I’m very grateful and acknowledge your sweet offer. Forgive my delay in gratitude, I was truly bewildered with this honor.

I have visited your place as well and also like your encouragements and congrats! on your own attainment. Truly deserving.

That being said, it’s going to take a bit of time for me to truly accept, answer your questions and come up with seven sites myself. I’ve met (electronically speaking through this social media channel) great individuals. I’m happy to call friends who are liked minded; brothers and sister in Christ.
I pray all is well with you and may the peace of the Father be with you always, Blessings, my friend, Aida

    1. Amazing grace!
I agree with you. A precious gift indeed, our heart’s must be open to receive.
Love in its purest without any of the baggage this cursed world inherited.

Faith to believe and hold on to. Jesus speaking to doubting Thomas about having faith in seeing yet blessing those who believe in their hearts without seeing, “…Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John 20:29
      Awesome!
